Go
arcgis_add_wms_service_using_url
- Start ArcMap and activate the ArcCatalog window
- Double click the Add WMS Sever
- Enter the url to the WMS service and click Get Layers.
- Click OK. The service will now be visible in the ArcCatalog pane.
- Drag the connection to the map window
- The map will come up in the default coordinate system EPSG:4326 (WGS84). To adjust the coordinate system, right-click the layer and choose Change Coordinate System...
- Choose coordinate system.
- Ignore the warning and click Yes
- Done!
