arcmap_change_dataframe_projection

You can change the coordinate system used for displaying your data in the Data Frame. This tutorial shows how to change from WGS84 (EPSG:4326) to SWEREF99 TM (EPSG:3006)

  • Right-click the Data Frame and select Properties.
  • Click the tab Coordinate System and type 3006.
  • To help ArcMap decide how to transform the data, click the Transformations button. Make sure the transformation will be from WGS84 to SWEREF99 and select the first transformation, even though it seems to do it the wrong way.
  • Click OK, OK and the map will be displayed in the EPSG:3006 projection.
