FME is great when working with large dataset. Before starting a ”monster-run” with loads of data it can be a good idea to subset your indata – just to see if everything works out the way you expected.

To do this you navigate to your indata and left-click, then you click on > Parameters > Advanced.

You can choose to either specify an Envelope or choose maximum features to read. All depending on the data you work with.
