install_esri_city_engine_with_named_user_licensing
ESRI CityEngine can be licensed in different ways. This instruction is for using ESRI Named User Licensing on ArcGIS Online.
If you have received a single-use license file from any of the GIS coordinators, see this instruction instead:
- Start Windows Explorer, navigate to \\gis.slu.se\gisprog\Esri\CityEngine\<your operating system> Double click the latest version of the installation file.
- Extract the setup files to your local disk
- When the extraction is done, make sure you have selected to Launch the setup program and click Close.
- The setup program will start, click Next.
- Read the license agreement carefully and accept it.
- If you want you can change the location where the program will be installed. Choose if you want the setup program to create a shortcut on your desktop.
- Click Install or go back and change any settings.
- If the installation was successful you will see this message, click Finish
- The ArcGIS Administrator will start automatically. Select CityEngine Named User. Click OK to close the window.
- Start the CityEngine program.
- Login using Enterprise login.
- Enter your AD username and password
- Done
