install_fme_desktop

FME Desktop comes in two versions for Windows, 32- and 64-bit. If you plan to read or write to ESRI personal geodatabases or ArcSDE, you must use the 32-bit version. See more about the difference between the two versions here. Also note that you can have multiple versions of FME Desktop installed on the same computer.

Installation






  • Select to be prompted if you don’t think you will be working with NAD27 <->NAD83 transformations.

  • If you trust SAFE and want to help them make the software better, accept to report your use anonymously.

  • Go ahead and install the software.

  • You will get a confirmation when the installation is complete.

Licensing
  • The Licensing Assistant will start automatically.


  • Activate the FME Desktop licenses. 

  • You are now ready to start using FME Desktop.
